FAUXJITO
A few simple ingredients are all you need to make this refreshing fizzy drink. For variety, pop ingredients in a blender and make this a smoothie instead.
Ingredients:
- Mint Leaves
- Simple syrup*
- Lime juice
- Slice of lime for garnish
- Club Soda
- Ice
Recipe
- In a glass, mash a handful of mint leaves with a tablespoons simple syrup.
- Add ice, and a juice of a half of lime. Top with club soda.
- Garnish with a slice of lime. Make 1 serving
SHIRLEY TEMPLE
This classic mocktail is such a sweet treat. You can also add orange juice and an extra cherry if you're feeling fancy!
Ingredients:
- Lemon-lime soda (Sprite or 7up)
- Ginger ale
- Grenadine
- Maraschino cherry for garnish
- Ice
Recipe: Pour 3 ounces soda and 3 ounces ginger ale into a glass with ice cubes. Add a dash of grenadine. Sir and garnish with a cherry. Makes a 1 serving,
WHITE SANGRIA
This Spanish drink is perfect for big groups. Prep in advance! Combine fruits and juice in a pitcher and chill for a few hours for the flavors to meld.
Ingredients:
- Oranges
- Apples
- White grape juice
- Simple syrup*
- Lemons
- Ice
- Lemon - lime soda
RECIPE: Slice oranges and lemons thinly. Chop apples into small pieces. Place in a large pitcher or punch bowl Fill with ice, and add equal parts grape juice and soda. Add simple syrup to taste. Makes about 12 servings.
