Milk toast and egg

This is a favorite breakfast of mine, its simple fast and comforting. Especially after a night on the town. This recipe makes your egg taste like its poached. The trick is to not cook the milk not to long, just enough. Some people just make milk toast, and dress the toast up with cinnamon and sugar, this recipe is different.

one egg

1cup of milk

1 piece of toasted bread buttered or unbuttered. I seem to like sourdough but wheat will do.

Fry your egg in a little oil not to much oil, 1 teaspoon, use corn it tastes better with the milk.

Flip the egg over, then quickly and carefully add the milk let it simmer for just 2 minutes enough to get warm. Add your favorite seasonings ( Lawry seasoned salt is mine)

Pour on your buttered or unbuttered toast and enjoy.

Serves 1

Sometimes on a cold morning this one is just right!
