My Mother's Recipe
My mother has made these monster cookies for years. Every Sunday after church my mother would come home and before doing anything else she would preheat the oven. I grew up with 3 brothers, so she would make 4 batches of this dough, and put two in the freezer for that week. She loved to bake, and now she has passed her HUGE recipe box down to me. It is a large tin box with flowers and butterflies on the outside, but probably a thousand recipes she wrote out on the inside. I know you will enjoy the cookies, so when you make them a second time try something fun in them! Sometimes my brothers and I would be allowed to choose one ingredient we wanted in our batch, and she would designate one batch to each of us. Now that I think of it though, we were only allowed two cookies a day! Her and my dad must have been pretty hungry! Anyway, try reeses pieces, cookie dough bites, butterscotch chips, peanut butter m and ms, chopped heath, snickers, etc., or anything fun you can think of!
