Time to Get Cooking!

  • Fill large pot half way with water, add tsp. oil and bring to a boil. Put spaghetti noodles in boiling water for 10-15 minutes. Drain water from the spaghetti noodles and leave noodles in pot.
  • Chop half onion into medium size dices/squares.
  • Put large skillet on top of stove at medium low to warm.
  • Mix chopped onions, ground beef, and salt and pepper with your hands in bowl or plate. Make big patties with ingredients and put into a large skillet and fry both sides 5 minutes each on medium low until browned. Use large spoon to break patties into big chunks and stir lightly.
  • Add diced tomatoes in skillet and fry with ground beef. Add a 1/4 cup water to prevent meat from overcooking. Let cook 5 minutes.
  • Pour jar of tomato sauce over meat in skillet. Add garlic powder. Stir once more.
  • Cut down temperature to low and simmer meat and sauce for 10-15 minutes.
  • Put 1 cup of spaghetti noodles on serving plate. Top with desired amount of meat sauce. Sprinkle cheese on top with a little salt and pepper to taste.
  • Can add toast or favorite bread on the side if you like. Get fork and enjoy!
