Everyone has heard of Ben & Jerry's most popular ice cream flavor, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. As my favorite B&J's flavor, I have been known to scoop out the cookie dough chunks leaving behind a pint solely of chocolate chip ice cream.

If you're a fan of this flavor, check out the three newest cookie dough flavors released by Ben & Jerry's, Chip Off the DOUGH Block, P.B. DOUGHble Chocolate, and Cinn-DOUGH-rella (all featured above.)

Check out these descriptions...

Chip Off the Dough Block - Chocolate chip & chocolate ice cream with chocolate chip cookie dough & chocolate chip cookies. Enough said.

P.B. DOUGHble Chocolate - Dark & milk chocolate ice creams with peanut butter cookie dough & swirls of peanut butter cookie butter. Peanut butter and cookie dough? Why wasn't this beautiful crossover of flavors discovered sooner?

Cinn-DOUGH-rella! - Cinnamon & caramel ice cream with cinnamon bun dough, shortbread cookies & oatmeal cinnamon cookie swirls. This flavor sounds like a sweetness overload that I'd like to get my hands on.

If you can't find any of these flavors in your local scoop shop or grocery store, you can also find pints for sale on the Ben & Jerry's website.

Grocery Store Edible Cookie Dough

When making chocolate chip cookies, I have little self-control when it comes to tasting the batter. It is not untypical for me to end up with half a batch or less due to my inability to resist the deliciousness that is raw cookie dough.

Of course, I know the risks associated with consuming raw flour and eggs. But that hasn't stopped me in the past. Thankfully, someone came up with edible cookie dough so we could enjoy raw cookie dough without the potential risk of E. Coli or Salmonella poisoning.

If you weren't aware before, edible cookie dough is sold at local grocery stores. A pint of The Cookie Dough Cafe's Chocolate Chip Edible Cookie Dough (pictured above) is sold at Walmart for $12. If you go to The Cookie Dough Café's website, you'll find a wider selection of cookie dough flavors including Oreo, Oatmeal, and Confetti.

Another edible cookie dough brand you'll find at the grocery store is Just for All (pictured above.) They make three different kinds of cookie dough flavors, Chocolate Chip, Birthday Cake, and Chocolate Mint. Yum!

If you like to be creative in the kitchen than consider making your own edible cookie dough. The Today Show's website features an egg-less cookie dough recipe that involves heating flour to remove any risks associated with its raw consumption. It also includes instructions for three flavor variations, Peanut Butter Cup, Funfetti Birthday Cake, and Unicorn Sugar Cookie Dough. You'll find the link to this recipe and video below.

Cookie Dough Scoop Shops

The last time I was in NYC, the city was buzzing about its first ever cookie dough scoop shop. Of course, I had to visit this wonderful place. After making the trek to Greenwich Village, I was disappointed to find 50+ people in line ahead of me. Sadly, I wasn't able to try any of DŌ's cookie dough or tasty treats. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out later that day when I googled "cookie dough scoop shop" that there are many edible cookie dough shops open in various cities.

Below I have compiled of list of different cookie dough scoop shops throughout the U.S. for your convenience.
