My Easter favorite

Cadbury Creme Eggs

Yes, this is my all time favorite Easter chocolate. Ever since I was a child, I was always mesmerized by that gold, red, blue, and green foil that each egg is wrapped in. I'm anxious to find that special pack of four, but so far the grocery stores I've been to, don't have them in stock yet. The chocolate is so smooth and thick, the delicious creme inside is a perfect pairing. When there fresh the cream oozes out with the first bite of the egg. I like to eat my egg nice and slow and savor in the richness. The egg is a perfect size about the same size as a real diary egg. These eggs give me an excitement every time I see them, it saddens me that there only sold once a year. However, I'm always ready the following year to fall in love with them all over again.

My first real love

Lindt Truffles

Yes, these have been a favorite for a while. I was gifted a bag of these truffles and instantly I was hooked. There is nothing like them on earth, the delicious chocolate on the outside and smooth creamy truffle filling on the inside. Yes, you could just pop these in your mouth,no problem, but why not take it slow. This way your palate can be drenched with this lovely smooth piece of heaven. For a while, you could only get Lindts at the actual Lindt store. They have become so popular now that they are readily available at the grocery store. They are a bit on the expensive side, but well worth the money to pay for the quality. Flavors like mint, amaretto, hazelnut are still not available in grocery stores, but the list keeps growing. I'm very fond of the amaretto and hazelnut, but usually will settle for the milk chocolate and white chocolate.

Good old standby

Turtles

The perfect combination of chocolate, caramel, and walnuts..Heavenly! These are my favorite go-to chocolate, when I'm in a rush. These lovelies are right in the checkout line waiting to be snatched up. You can get three of these delights for a little over a dollar and they will satisfy your sweet tooth for at least a day. Or in my case a few hours, I enjoy the crunch and the sweetness of the caramel. These are usually always fresh and they also come in a nice larger box if you need more than three to make it through the week. Turtles have been a love of mine for as long as I can remember. Good chocolate with good flavor, and great ingredients you really can't go wrong with these, unless your allergic to nuts.

Longhorn's chocolate Stampede Cake

I found this beauty five years ago when I moved to Atlanta. It's on the dessert menu at a restaurant called Longhorn. I never heard of this restaurant before being from the east coast and not having any around. When I ordered this for dessert I feel in love instantly. Seven different kinds of chocolate,so rich and amazingly delicious, it gives me sweet dreams and day dreams every time I eat it. It's so big I can never finish it in one sitting. I can usually eat off this cake for at a least two days, that's usually because I'm so saddened when it's finished. The calories on this cake is really high,so usually I only indulge on special occasions, but I often think about this beauty quite often, waiting for the day to devour it again.

Peace,serenity,and chocolate

Dove, is a great brand of chocolate that is rich and smooth. I love the little messages that come along with each chocolate. There are so many chocolates that I love, but dove is one that you can eat and it kind of makes you feel good about eating them. They tell you to treat yourself and indulge a little. They give you little bits of inspiration letting you know that this chocolate is good for you, and please buy as much as you want. The best to me is the plain milk chocolate square, I just let it melt in my mouth as I read my sweet inspiration. The dove itself is a symbol of love,so it's so fitting to end my love of chocolate hub, with a chocolate that symbolizes both love and chocolate. What a great union!!

Sweet Inspiration

Great hub! Chocolate is so great! I forgot about how good it feels to eat a Dove chocolate and to read the message inside. I'll have to go buy some for my family and friends. Thanks!
