Nick B's Recipe file

Updated on July 27, 2010

What's the recipe today?

Well I might not be able to produce a recipe a day, but I will certainly be adding recipes as I find them

Mostly, the following recipes are diet friendly--well, they work for us and I hope tasty and nutritious too!

Anyway, as more recipes are added to my collection of hubs, I will be putting links to them in here.

This one's a real favourite and can be found here.

It's quick and easy and can be adapted for cooking for bigger numbers

For Weightwatchers dieters, leave out the Parmesan, use extra lean meat and use veg or beef stock cubes instead of the wine for 8 points per serving.

Chinese pork with stir fried veg and noodles. Eat with chopsticks or just a fork

For Weightwatchers, this recipe is about 7 points per serving

Coq au vin

A real French favourite with a rich sauce of red wine. Click here for a meal that's great for two or can be adapted for feeding more.

For Weightwatchers, we worked this one out to be about 8 1/2 points per serving

Pork loin, pasta and cream cheese. Rich and surprisingly filling

This is real quick and easy and cooks in just slightly longer than it takes a pan of pasta to do.

      Thanks.

I have lots of recipe ideas for future hubs, but its better to put them up with pictures and I want to take them myself, so they'll have to wait until I cook them!
