OAKCREST FAMILY RESTAURANT - Oakcrest Family Restaurant is a mainstay in Greensboro, North Carolina. Oakcrest Family Restaurant has been in business for a long time but, I recently tried the food at Oakcrest Family Restaurant for the first time after having lived here in Greensboro, NC for a decade! Everything that we ordered from Oakcrest Family Restaurant was very good.

• Served as an appetizer at Oakcrest Family Restaurant, two large lump crab cakes were very fresh and tasty at a cost of $6.99.
• Fried to a brown crisp, I thought that the crab cakes were very good.
• I always appreciate when a restaurant can offer me fresh real crab as opposed to imitation crab.
• The chicken alfredo at the restaurant costs $7.99.
• I usually like to have fettuccine with chicken alfredo but a pasta substitution was made here. On our recent order from Oakcrest Family Restaurant , the chicken alfredo was served with penne pasta which was okay.
• The alfredo sauce from the restaurant was rich, the strips of chicken were tasty and there were pieces of broccoli in the dish as well.
• The restaurant's chicken alfredo entrée was served with garlic bread that was sliced white bread not french bread as is often used for garlic bread.

• At costs of around $5.79 each, the burgers from Oakcrest Family Restaurant are very good and include many toppings upon request.
• A double cheeseburger from Oakcrest Family Restaurant is $6.79. You can also get a ribeye steak sandwich for $6.79. Slices of red onion, lettuce, tomato, coleslaw, a pickle are just some of the toppings that you can get on your burgers from Oakcrest Family Restaurant.
• I particularly like the great flavor of red onions and was glad to have the Oakcrest Family Restaurant burgers topped with that among other toppings.
• Bacon and chili are also toppings that can be included for a little additional cost.
• The Oakcrest Family Restaurant burgers are really fully loaded with tasty and fresh toppings and they are served with fries.
• The fries from Oakcrest Family Restaurant are really good as far as fries go and the kids ate them all up with none remaining. After the last bites, they were looking to see if there were any left, but the fries were all gone!

We all shared up everything and had tastes of everything. The kids liked both the chicken alfredo with penne and the burgers with fries from Oakcrest Family Restaurant but they liked the chicken alfredo even more than the burger.

Some other items on the menu at Oakcrest Family Restaurant looked very enticing but we could not buy everything! Here are some of the other menu items that seem like they would be very appetizing at Oakcrest Family Restaurant.

• You can add “the soup of the day” to a burger order for just $1.
• The seafood platter with fish and shrimp is $11.99.
• You can add a shrimp skewer to various items for $3.99. I love seafood so much and Oakcrest Family Restaurant has multiple seafood menu options but the crab cake appetizer is all that we got in terms of seafood with this particular recent order from Oakcrest Family Restaurant.
• Additionally, if you have seen my prime rib recipe here on HubPages, you know how much I love a good prime rib. The prime rib dinner entrée from Oakcrest Family Restaurant is $16.99.
• Oakcrest Family Restaurant also has “daily specials” including meatloaf or corned beef on a Tuesday for example at a cost of $6.99 for the entrée. There is a different dish offered for every day of the week.
