Orange Brownies Recipe

Orange Brownies Recipe
Here is one of my favorite brownie recipes. If you can find them in your area use kumquats to garnish your brownies with before serving. Just slice the kumquats thin.
Be sure that you use real butter and real Pam Vegetable Cooking Spray.
For Your Brownies You Will Need.
1. 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Plain Flour.
2. 2 Cups White Granulated Sugar.
3. 2 Sticks Real Butter at room temperature.
4. 4 Large Eggs.
5. 1 Tablespoon Real Orange Extract.
6. 1 Tablespoon Grated Orange Zest.
7. 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder.
You will want to preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray a 13X9X2 inch deep baking pan with Pam Vegetable Cooking Spray.
Now you will want to sift together your flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar. Then add your butter, eggs, orange extract and orange zest. Using an electric hand mixer beat your ingredients together well. Pour your batter into the pan and bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven until golden brown.
Remove brownies from oven and pierce all over with a fork. Now make the below frosting and when the brownies are completely cool spread the frosting over the brownies.
Frosting For Your Brownies.
1 8 Ounce Package Philadelphia Cream Cheese.
4 tablespoons Softened Butter.
1 Box of Confectioners Sugar.
2 Tablespoons Orange Extract.
2 Tablespoons Orange Zest.
Beat your frosting very well with a electric hand mixer and then spread over the top of your brownies. If you can find kumquats garnish your brownies with thin sliced kumquats.
