Oven-Baked Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon (10g) Flour
- 3/4 pound (340 g) Beef Chuck, Cubed
- 3/4 cup( (120 g) Onion, Chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) Basil, Chopped
- 2 Potatoes, Peeled, cubed
- 2 Carrots, Peeled, sliced
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) Dry red wine
- 1 (10oz) can (280 g) Tomato soup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325° (160°C).
- Combine flour with a teaspoon of salt and pepper and Pat onto both sides of meat. Brown meat in large iron skillet. Transfer to large deep skillet.
- Add all remaining ingredients with 1 1/4 cups (310 ml) water; cover and bake for about 1 hour.
