Potato Soup Delight
A Soup for Cold Days
5-6 Medium sized potatoes peeled and diced
1 cup diced ham
1 cup chopped onion
Cook with enough water to cover until potatoes are tender.
Then add:
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can peas (If using frozen peas add with first 3 ingredients)
1 cup milk
Salt and pepper as desired
Simmer 10-15 minutes and serve hot.
Variations to This Recipe
Cream of celery soup can be replaced with cream of chicken, cream of mushroom or other cream style favorites.
I have made this soup with canned potatoes before which tasted just as good.
The frozen pea pods add another variety for a tasty combination.
I make this soup often during the cold winter months.
