Pancakes Cooked in a Skillet
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup pancake mix
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 cup syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
Syrup and the Fixings
I like to roll my pancakes and dip them in my bowl of syrup.
Sometimes, I like to melt butter on the pancakes. Some people like to get out a container of pie filling and whipped topping. Fried sausages or bacon are good nibblers, as well.
I like to add a few slices to my batter as well. A shake or two of nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon and a little allspice.
Batters
Some batters need milk added. Some, just water. If you make the wrong choice, it will work out. Just don't forget the eggs, don't burn your cakes, and make sure they are cooked through!
