Peanut Butter: Think Outside The Sandwich
Peanut Butter can be found in almost everyone's kitchen cabinet and most Americans have enjoyed it from time to time in a delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwich or two. For many generations Peanut Butter has been used to make sandwiches for lunch or as a quick after school snack for the kids.
But I wonder have you ever had peanut butter and grape jelly made into a sandwich your not soon going to forget. Here's what you want to do. In the food processor place 1 cup of peanut butter and 1/4 cup of grape jelly. Let the food processor run until it mixes the peanut butter and jelly together very well. Now you want good fresh white bread. Spread a spoonful of the peanut butter and jelly onto two separate pieces of white bread. Now put the two sides of your sandwich together and I guarantee you that you and anyone who tries it will love this peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
A lot of people also fail to realize that peanut butter is a nutrient rich food that you can make use of for a healthy lifestyle. 1. 2 Cups of Milk
2. 1/2 Cup Of Sour Cream
3. 1 Package Vanilla Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
4. 1 Cup Peanut Butter
5. 1/3 Cup Of Sugar
Combine Milk, Sour Cream, and Instant Pudding in a bowl and mix very well with hand mixer. When smooth now add in your Peanut Butter and Sugar and mix very well with hand mixer. If it gets to thick add a little more milk.
You can put the Peanut Butter Dip in a small bowl at the center of a tray and around the bowl of dip you can arrange slices of bananas, apples, celery, carrots etc. This will be a big hit at any party but especially one with children or teens.
Raisin Bread Peanut Butter Toast
You can make a delicious raisin bread with peanut butter that your kids will love by toasting raisin bread until it just starts to get brown and then remove it from the oven and spread smooth peanut butter over each slice of raisin bread and return it to the oven. Cook until the edges of the bread start to turn brown. This makes a really delicious breakfast toast.
You can make a delicious peanut butter/banana spread by placing 1 cup of smooth peanut butter in your food processor and then add 2 large bananas cut up. Run your food processor until the mixture is smooth and use it to make great peanut butter/banana sandwiches. Elvis Presely loved these fried in butter.
