How to Make Easy Peanut Butter Cookies with M&M's
Peanut Butter Cookies
My daughter Kala loves to make these cookies all the time. They are easy to make. Kala is 15 and if she can make them almost anyone can. They have also become a family favorite of ours and only last about a day in our home before everyone eats them all up...
Ingrediants:
1/2 Cup of sugar
1/2 Cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of softened butter
1/2 Cup of Peanut butter
1 egg
1 1/4 cup of flour
3/4 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 package of peanut butter cups (optional)
1 package of M&M'S (optional)
Preheat oven to 375. In a medium sized bowl sift together sugar, brown sugar, flour, baking soda, salt. In another medium bowl cream together butter, peanut butter, and egg for about two minutes. Add the creamed mixture to the powdered mixture. If you have a package of M&M's add them. Scoop out table spoon fulls onto a greased pan, roll into balls. Sometimes Kala places a fork indent across the top and then across the side of the cookie, which makes a crisscross pattern across the ball. Sprinkle the top of cookies with a pinch of sugar. Cook in oven for about 10 minutes or until edges are golden brown. When you take them out of the oven immediately press a peanut butter cup of top of each one. Allow to cool and carefully remove the cookies from pan and enjoy. This recipe makes about two dozen cookies.
