Pistachio and chocolate dipped Crescent rolls
I recently saw this recipe in a magazine, and had to try them out. They are sweet, salty, and satisfying without over-indulging. They are so delicious and super easy to make.

Cook Time for Pistachio and chocolate dipped Crescent rolls
Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate, melted
- 1 cup unsalted/shelled pistachios, finely ground in food processor
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup unsalted/shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
- 1 egg
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a bowl, stir flour, finely ground pistachio's and salt.
- In another bowl beat sugar and butter for 2 minutes, until fluffy, then beat in the egg. Pour the dry mixture bowl into this and continue to mix until combined.
- Now shape level tablespoons of the dough into 2 1/2 inch logs, and bend into crescent shapes. Place on a baking sheet 2-3 inches apart, and bake for 16 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove and allow them to cool completely.
- Once cooled, melt your chocolate and dunk the crescents into it, and then into the roughly chopped pistachios. Allow them to dry completely on parchment paper.
