Cook Time for Pistachio and chocolate dipped Crescent rolls

Prep time: 25 min
Cook time: 16 min
Ready in: 41 min
Yields: about 35

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup unsalted/shelled pistachios, finely ground in food processor
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup unsalted/shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 1 egg
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. In a bowl, stir flour, finely ground pistachio's and salt.
  3. In another bowl beat sugar and butter for 2 minutes, until fluffy, then beat in the egg. Pour the dry mixture bowl into this and continue to mix until combined.
  4. Now shape level tablespoons of the dough into 2 1/2 inch logs, and bend into crescent shapes. Place on a baking sheet 2-3 inches apart, and bake for 16 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove and allow them to cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, melt your chocolate and dunk the crescents into it, and then into the roughly chopped pistachios. Allow them to dry completely on parchment paper.
  6. Share and enjoy!

  • These go great with coffee, vanilla ice-cream, or just enjoy them solo!
  • Great for parties of any kind, baby showers, receptions, or even just as a sweet snack
  • When transporting, pack in layers, separated with parchment paper, in air tight containers. Moving this way will avoid breakage.
