Preparing a Tasty Broccoli Salad MMMMmmm
Do you feel to experiment in your kitchen at times, when you get bored of eating the same stuff over and over? Well let me take you for a little ride on my Broccoli Salad Recipe.
What you will need to make this mouth watering Salad.
INGREDIENTS:

½ plb of broccoli cut into florets
½ Carrot sliced thinly
1 sweet pepper sliced
¼ plb cauliflower
3 sliced tomatoes
1 tin of chunky tuna
1 small pack of craisins
1 tsp of black pepper
1 tbsp of ‘red butter/golden ray”
1 tbsp of butter
¼ tsp of salt
¼ tsp of all purpose seasoning
1 tbsp of oregano
STEP 1
- Bring to boil 4-5 cups of water in a pot
- Rinse vegetables thoroughly and cut as instructed earlier
- When water has come to boil place vegetables into the pot, add ½ -1 tsp of salt, 1 tbsp of oil and leave to steam for 10-15 minutes (please note vegetables must at no time become soft, it ought to be half crunchy)
- After vegetables has been steamed pour into a drainer and leave to drain for a few minutes.
STEP 2
Place a pot, on the fire then add a tbsp spoon of golden ray “red butter” and 1 tbsp of butter, leave to melt when the butter is melted. Add the vegetables and stir fry for five (5) minutes. Sprinkle 1 tsp of black pepper, ½ tsp of all purpose seasoning and 1 tbsp of oregano and stir.
After the vegetables are well stirred and season add 4-5 slices of cheddar cheese, let it melt and keep stirring until all of the vegetables are covered in the cheese.
STEP 3
Place chunky tuna into a plate; add 2 tsp of “white vinegar” and ½ tsp of lime juice (this is to take away the fresh fish scent) Slice 3 tomatoes, remove the seeds under running water and place onto the tuna. Then throw into a bowl with the vegetables and mix thoroughly and add some craisins “cranberry”.
STEP 4
This Broccoli Salad can be served either hot or cold with a ranch dressing you can have it with a meal or you can have it alone.
Please note that according to your family size you can increase or decrease the ingredients to your liking, as each family or taste may vary.
