Updated on January 9, 2010

A colorful and tasty punch makes a great addition to parties and other social gatherings. If you're looking for a great beverage for your next party or family gathering, try making a delicious punch recipe.

Cranberry Fruit Punch

  • 1 gallon cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 quart pineapple juice
  • 1 quart lemonade
  • 1 two-liter bottle of ginger ale

Chill all ingredients. Mix everything together in a punch bowl. Serve cold. Add ice if necessary. (You can add ice to the bowl, or simply put ice cubes in each glass).

Adult Beverage Version: To create a tasty grown-up cocktail, just add vodka or gin to this fruity concoction!

Pineapple-Lime Sherbet Punch

  • 1 quart pineapple sherbet
  • 1 quart lime sherbet
  • 1 12 ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 6 ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 3 cups of pineapple juice
  • 1 two-liter bottle of Sprite or Ginger Ale (regular or Diet)

Prepare frozen orange juice and lemonade as directed. Pour all three juices into a large punch bowl. Add both containers of sherbet to the juice mixture in small scoops. Add sprite or ginger ale and stir.

Adult Beverage Version: Make a delicious champagne cocktail for the adults by adding in champagne to taste.

Hot Spiced Punch (Slow Cooker)

  • 5 cups pineapple juice (unsweetened)
  • 5 cups cranberry juice cocktail
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves

Combine all ingredients in your slow cooker and allow to simmer on low for at least four hours. Serve hot in mugs or disposable cups for heated beverages.

Adult Beverage Version: Stir in a little dark rum or bourbon to this tasty treat for a hot toddy. If you really like the spicy flavor, try adding in Captain Morgan's spiced rum.

Tropical Fruit Cranberry Punch

  • 1 quart white cranberry juice
  • 1 two-liter bottle of ginger ale
  • 2 15 oz cans of tropical fruit salad

Process one can of the tropical fruit salad in your blender, including all fruit and liquid from the can. Combine pureed fruit with the white cranberry juice and ginger ale in a punch bowl. Drain the second can of fruit and add to punch bowl. Mix well and add ice.

Adult Beverage Version: This one tastes great with light rum or vodka as a cocktail. If you're feeling really festive, you can garnish the glasses with a few slices of fresh tropical fruit or a little cocktail umbrella.
