Wrapped Dill Slices
This appetizer is easy to make. It is also one that you can take with you if you are traveling to a party and need to bring something easy to make at your destination.
I first tasted these in a hospitality room during a visit from the Grand Exalted Ruler of the Elks here in Pittsburgh. Our Lodge hosted the room and there were an assortment of delicious offerings that the ladies had made to entertain our honored guest.
After learning how to make these, I continued to make these for convention hospitality rooms. They are so easy that you can make some and save some of your ingredients in a cooler for a second day to insure freshness. Remember that it is best to toss out anything that has been set out perishables at the end of the day. So it's best to bring and keep cool enough ingredients to remake these over a couple of days.

Convention Travel
My husband and I traveled to many a convention and we purchased a cooler that could be plugged into the car cigarette lighter and had an adapter to be plugged in at hotel rooms. Not only did we bring the ingredients for these but we normally brought an assortment of cheeses and other meats that could be cut up as appetizers.
