Nacho,Dill,Hot clam,Spinach,Taco and Salsa Cheese Dip Recipies
Nacho Dip
1 can chili with beans
1 can chili without beans
1 1/2 package cream cheese
1 package shredded cheddar cheese
Smooth cream cheese on bottom of 8x10 baking dish.
Pour on both cans of chili.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted.
Serve with Nacho Chips.
Dill Dip
2 cup sour cream
2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons dill weed
2 tablespoons dill seed
2 tablespoons scallions
1 tablespoon accent
2 tablespoon parsley
Chop scallions and mix all ingredients in
large bowl.Serve in bread bowl
Hot Clam Dip
2 cans 7 1/2 oz. chopped clams
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
1/4 pound butter
1 small onion,chopped
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (optional)
1/2 green pepper,finely chopped
2 cloves garlic,chopped
1 teaspoon oregano
3/4 cup bread crumbs
Do not drain clams. Saute butter,onion
pepper and garlic till soft. Add remainder of ingredients.
Pour into small casserole dish.
Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.Serve hot with butter crackers.
Spinach Dip
1 package (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach
thawed and drained
16 oz. sour cream
1 cup real mayonnaise ( do not use fat free)
1 package Knorr's vegetable soup dip
8 ounces chopped, drained water chestnuts
3 green onions chopped
10 ounces Swiss Cheese, grated
Stir spinach, sour cream,mayonnaise,soup mix,
water chestnuts and onions.Place in a baking dish.
Cover with Swiss Cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for
about 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.Remove
from oven and stir to blend cheese in.
Serve with crackers or garlic bread.
Serve hot or cold.
Taco Dip
1 can re fried beans (plain)
1 cup guacamole (2 avocados or store bought pre made)
1 cup sour cream mixed with 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup diced tomato
1/2 cup chopped scallion
1/4 cut sliced black olives ( optional)
1 bag tostitos
Layer on serving tray in this order.Add more or less of
favorite toppings.
Salsa Cheese Dip
2 pounds velveeta cheese
1 jar pic-ante sauce or salsa
1 pound ground beef
1 package jimmy dean sausage
1 can cream of mushroom soup (condensed)
Cook beef and sausage until browned. Drain and add
to crock pot. Add cheese, salsa,and soup.Cook in crock pot
until cheese is melted,stir periodically.
Serve hot with tostitos (scoops)
