RED ROBIN RESTAURANT REVIEW

Red Robin restaurant is a very good restaurant with gourmet style burgers. My kids love the macaroni and cheese from Red Robin restaurant. In a takeout order from Red Robin Restaurant, an entrée such as a burger with steak fries is served on a large red plastic sectioned tray. It is a very nice presentation but perhaps an expensive way to package the product. Keeping prices for the Red Robin restaurant lower can help lower the prices for the consumer. Nevertheless, the prices at Red Robin restaurant are pretty reasonable.

• That side order of Red Robin macaroni and cheese that the kids love costs $2.99 each.
• One burger and steak fries entrée that we got on a red platter costs $6.75. It was among the cheaper burger entrees on the menu at Red Robin restaurant. Some of Red Robin restaurant’s burger entrees cost as much as $11 and up.

For dessert from Red Robin restaurant, we bought one slice of tres leches cake with strawberries, to share but we were a bit disappointed. The strawberries on top of the slice of tres leches cake did not look fresh and appetizing at all. We scraped the strawberries off of the cake and we did not bother to eat them. We usually love strawberries. We do wish that the Red Robin restaurant dessert presentation was better.

Red Robin restaurant offers an abundant selection of sauces that you can choose for free when you place a Red Robin restaurant food order. These include tartar sauce, bleu cheese dressing, Caesar dressing, thousand island dressing and more.

The sauces from Red Robin restaurant are rich, creamy, and delicious offering a variety of flavorings. Getting a few from the assortment of complimentary small containers of sauce is worth requesting for adding abundant flavor to your Red Robin restaurant food. Besides for just ketchup, there are plentiful options for dipping sauces for the steak fries for example.

1. Unfortunately, the food photos that I took to include in this hub appear a bit fuzzy and blurry, not as bright or in focus as I intended but I will include them anyway and perhaps replace them with new food photos the next time our family orders food from Red Robin restaurant.
2. For now, these food photos can give you a general idea about the presentation of the food from Red Robin restaurant. The red plastic platter / tray that I previously mentioned can be seen in a food photo below.

• I would say that Red Robin restaurant is very child friendly.
• Red Robin restaurant has an expansive kids menu and the marketing and packaging material does just get the kids excited.
• They love the brilliant red packaging to go with the restaurant name, Red Robin. While presumably pricey, it really is quite lovely and when the kids get their entrée packages out of the Red Robin restaurant takeout bag, they feel like they are receiving a special meal, out of the ordinary.

By the way, we just had our very first order from Red Robin restaurant. I would usually mention that more early on, at the beginning part of my restaurant review if that is the case. So, this first order that we made from Red Robin restaurant was enjoyable and presented in a way that was deemed special compared to many other restaurants. So, there are definitely both pros and cons to using the more pricey packaging.

• The burgers were juicy we concurred and when you can describe the burger that you are eating as juicy, you’re on the right path.
• The burgers were very tasty and not dry at all.

Red Robin restaurant offer many more food options (not just burgers and fries). An entree with prime rib slices for $14.95 is an example of an entree on the food menu that caught my eye but I did not buy it because we were looking for a more economical meal this time. (I do love prime rib, though!)

Additionally, Red Robin restaurant offers many beverage options.

Overall, ordering from Red Robin restaurant was a good experience and while there is no rush, our family can see ourselves ordering food from this restaurant again in the future. We might go for the dine –in restaurant experience or we might order takeout food again and eat it at home. The $2.99 container of tasty macaroni and cheese is one thing that the kids can see themselves wanting again. They had really eaten it all up very well, not in a picky/ finicky way at all. They enjoyed it a lot.

The way the food is prepared and tastes put Red Robin restaurant in the category of restaurants like Ruby Tuesday for me. If you have been to eat food from Ruby Tuesday restaurant and then you eat food from Red Robin too, maybe you will notice some similarities like I did.

One part of our food order from Red Robin was missing and when we discovered that, we were promptly refunded the cost of around $5.79 for it. It was a fish kids meal. It is always a bit disappointing when something that you were expecting in your food order is not there but we just shared up everything else.

Again mentioning Ruby Tuesday restaurant, the last time I was there some years ago, customers were able to add a salad bar buffet to their entrée cost for the cost of $2.99. There were large selections of salads at the salad bar, not just lettuce and tomato salads but also chicken salad, tuna salad, shrimp salad, egg salad, and fruit salad for example. In our food order from Red Robin restaurant, as selection of assorted fruit was placed in our takeout bag and it included apple slices. The presentation of this / the way in which these fruits was presented is one of the things that reminded me or Ruby Tuesday as well. I would say that the two restaurants are comparable in various ways.

In conclusion, ordering food from Red Robin restaurant should be a predominantly pleasant experience for you and your family.

• If you have kids, they will probably be grinning from ear to ear and excited to be presented with their meals from Red Robin restaurant. It’s a good place.
