Chevy's Restaurant Review: Definitely a Happy Hour

I’ve been to a few different types of Mexican restaurants before, but I have to say Chevy’s was the best I’ve ever eaten at. They brought us fresh nacho chips and salsa after we were seated for free and followed up with our drinks quickly. Then they actually gave us enough time to go over the menu (since I’ve never been there before) to decide what we wanted to order so there wasn’t a rush, which also gave me a chance to look at their drink specials too.

When we went, it was actually happy hour (which is from 2pm to 8pm!), and I got a large frozen strawberry margarita for only $3.00. They had a lot of drink specials for $3.00, $5.00, and $7.00 that you wouldn’t believe. Plus, their food is great for the price and freshly made, not frozen. You can get more than enough to eat for $13.00 or less per person. The lunch special prices are even better Monday thru Friday until 3pm. Our waiter in particular was amazing because when my food came out, I expected to have an extra shell to make a taco, but I had read the menu wrong. That didn’t matter. He brought me a fresh soft taco shell anyway, so I could make up a taco with the rest of the sides on my plate. Overall, I have to say that this particular Chevy’s was excellent. The customer service was superb, the restaurant was spotless, and the food was hot and fresh. I give it a 9 out of 10, only because I didn’t like the parking!
