Review & Taste Test: Koa Pancake House Buttermilk Pancakes from Hawaii

This was the first time trying the pancakes at Koa Pancake House. I was wonderfully surprised. The flavor wasn't bland, but on the flip side, it wasn't stellar, either. They were light and fluffy. This is the short stack that you see in the picture, which includes 3 pancakes.

The size is just right as I'm not a very big eater. I finished this, but was adequately full afterwards. I took this for take-out during lunch, and they included a container of whipped butter and two containers of maple syrup. All in all, I'd say that this was a good pancake, however, not one of the best that I've tried. But, you definitely cannot go wrong with the amount you get for the price that you pay.
