Rice pudding with raisins

This is my grandma's rice pudding. It is simple and delicious.

2 cups cooked white rice

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup milk

4 eggs(beaten)

1/4 tsp cinnamon

dash nutmeg

1 tblsp butter or margerine

1/2 cup raisins (use more if wanted)

optional - 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans

In a 2 quart casserole dish put in:

cooked rice, sugar, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins, butter or margerine, (and nuts if using nuts)

Mix well.

Fold in beaten eggs.

Sprinkle top of mixture with a little cinnamon.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour or until top gets slightly brown.

Serve with chocolate sauce and whipped cream (optional)

Enjoy! Thanks Grandma!

This sounds really good! I've never tried nuts in rice pudding. I love nuts, so I think that would only improve the yumminess!
