Salmon Penne Alfredo
Salmon Penne Alfredo
Prep time: 30-45 minutes
Serving: 3-4 persons
Ingredients:
1/2 lb Penne pasta
1 lb Frozen salmon pattie
1/2 white onions
1/2 cup red bell pepper sliced thinly
1/4 cup black olives
4-5 tablespoons olive oil
1 32 ounce jar of alfredo sauce ( heavy cream sauce is also okay)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt and ground pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Boil pasta al dente for 15-20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Fry salmon pattie on medium fire until a little bit burnt. Set aside.
- Sautee onions then red peppers until brown. Pour cream sauce. Add salt and ground black pepper. Pour 1/2 cup water to let it simmer for awhile. 15-20 minutes is good.
- Cut up salmon in strips.
- Pour pasta on a platter then top with sauce.
- Top with salmon then cheese.
NOTE/TIPS
This quick recipe is great for introducing fish to your children who doesn't really like eating them. Once they taste it, they're gonna like it for sure because the sauce tastes awesome! They look like chicken so it looks enticing!
