- March 2016
Ingredients
Here are the ingredients. I made some small modification from the original recipe below.
- can of whole tomato (drain and cut tomato into cubes)
- half cup of diced onion
- 4 slices of bacon cut to 1/2 inch strips
- 2 stalks of carrots (cut)
- 3 stalks of celery (cut)
- 1 potato diced to cubes
- 1 pound of frozen Alaskan Cod
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup of cooking wine
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp parsley flakes
- 1 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
How to Make It?
In a pan, saute onion and bacon until onion appears translucent. Place in a large pot and add water, olive oil, wine, and all the rest of ingredients and bring to boil. Turn heat to low and cook for approx. 45 minutes. Defrost cod fish and cut into 1/2 inch cubes. Add the fish to pot and cook another 15 minutes. Makes about 6 servings. Serve while hot.
