Simple Lobster Roll and Shrimp Roll Recipe
Introduction
I am a huge lobster roll fan. I've tried all kinds of lobster roll when vacationing in New England. Recently, I decided to try making my own at home. I found it to be easy and just as good. It is more economical as well.

Lobster Roll
Ingredients:
2 lb. frozen Lobster claws
4 Tbsp. butter
5 celery stalks
2 tsp Lime juice
2 large Tbsp. of Mayonnaise
Salt and Pepper
hot dog buns
How to make it:
Boil lobster claw in pot under medium heat for about 5 minutes. After cooled, remove meat from claws and place in large bowl. Make sure to drain extra liquids. Cut up celery stalks into small cubes. Make sure to remove the veins before cutting. Mix melted butter, celery, lobster meat, lime juice and Mayo in the large bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. That's it.
Serve on a heated hot dog bun. These ingredients will make approx. 6 lobster rolls. Enjoy!
Final Product
Shrimp Roll
By the way, the same can be applied to shrimp rolls as well. The only addition I would make is to add some cut up scallions. I use small frozen shrimp from the freezer section. A two pound bag cost about $12 dollars compared to $20 for lobster claws.
Summary
Great tasting lobster rolls or shrimp rolls are so easy to make. I can't believe I waited this long to try it. Let me know if you agree. By the way, the best place to buy frozen lobster claws is at Hmart, the Korean grocery store. Their claws are pre cut for easy removal.
