Spaghetti versus Burger

Updated on November 3, 2013

I love them both

Well, things have change so much. Gone were the days were we have to wait for a food to be cooked considering that nowadays, fast food chains have ruled the streets. Even some classy restaurants have adjusted some of their ways to serve the food fast.

But two of the most common things, I like are burger and spaghetti. I like them because they taste great and they are now readily available in every corner of the street. This is the reason why, I have decided to write about it and see for myself, which among the two are preferred by people.

Spaghetti for the young and adult

Spaghetti is aIways present in most celebrations. From birthdays, weddings, baptism, fiestas and all other events, its seems like its the perfect food to prepare. It's not that expensive and basically easy to prepare. Children loves spaghetti so much, especially the sweet style preparation. So and so that now you can even buy sweet style spaghetti sauce.

In my case, I love the Italian style and normally do not add much of the pork. I love it with more tomato and spices. Well, the great thing about it is you always have the option what to put when you are the one preparing. Sometimes, I replace the pork with tuna.

I do find the spaghetti more of a snack food. It provides a light fill on the stomathis then is the reason why, I take it more during snacks time.

Hamburger for all!

I would say that hamburger is like candy this days. You would find a burger stall in almost every corner around the street. There are even those that come as buy one take one and though quite tasty indeed.

There are also those that are served in restaurants and obviously cost a higher than the ones in the street. But yes if course, they are of better quality and most of them are even made pure meat rather than a meat mix with extenders.

Well, I eat both kinds depending on my budget and depending on what is available. But for as long as I the time time and I am in my home, I make my own patty. I usually buy the beef and grind it and make my own. I find it more satisfying and believe it or not, I even substitute it for my meal. as you can see, burgers can really fill the stomach. I do add on some lettuce, tomato, catsup, hot sauce and spices.

My choice.....

I do love both as I your told you earlier. When I want a heavy fill, then I would go for the burger and when I want some light snacks, I go for the spaghetti. But sometimes, I do take both in one single meal.

But if only I have to make a single choice, then I guess the hamburger will be the one on top and spaghetti would be the second. So how about you? What would be your choice?

Spaghetti or Burger?

Which do you prefer if you have to choose only one...
