3-lbs. Beef (Or ground turkey, etc..), Browned over medium heat.
2-16 oz. Jars (More if you like) Pasta Sauce, Ragu, Prego, Homemade.. Your Choice
3/4 - 1lb Mozzerella Cheese, Any brand...Your Favorite
1/2 - 1lb Bacon (Optional), Chopped in to very small pieces.
I-can Diced tomatoes, I se the Italian Diced Tomatoes, but any brand is fine
Optional Garlic Salt, You can choose to use this or not. Use as much as you desire in order to flavor meat.
Preperation
Pre-heat oven to 375-degrees and also boil water in large pot and cook jumbo noodle shells to desired firmness. Remove from pot and rinse with cool water in large strainer.
Add uncooked beef and chopped bacon to a large skillet. Season it with your desired amount of Garlic Salt and brown over medium heat. Make sure to stir frequently in order to get a nice even cook of the bacon. When finished remove from heat and drain grease.
Take one or two handfuls of mozzarella cheese and mix it in to the now grease free meat mixture. Let sit
In a large bowl mix your pasta sauce and can of diced tomatoes. (The diced tomatoes are optional, but do add a nice flavor and texture to your pasta sauce, as well as stretches the amount of sauce that you have.)
At this point take 2-bqking pans, (I use 2-quart Pyrex baking pans), and spray them with a non-stick spray such as Pam or any other that you use. Begin to take cooked shells and tuff them with the meat mixture of meat and mozzarella, (I use an ice cream scoop to do this), Place them in the baking dishes side by side with the open-side or "stuffed-side" facing up. Fill both pans with stuffed shells.
Once both pans are filled, you will now take and spread over the top, making sure to cover all the shells, your pasta sauce with diced-tomato. Once you finish spreading the pasta sauce Place a nice layer of mozzarella cheese over the tops of both baking dishes of shells. (At this point if you like you can take and sprinkle a dash more of garlic salt over the tops of each dish.)
Place both pans of stuffed shells into pre-heated oven and let bake for approximately 35-45 minutes. Once finished remove from heat and let set 5-minutes before serving.
