When looking for a sweet snack to munch on, or for something sweet to go along with a delicious cup of tea you might like cream cheese with honey on a cracker or toasted bread. It tastes yummy and will satisfy your craving for something sweet.

When there's nothing else sweet or baked in my house I always make cream cheese with honey on toasted bread and brew some chamomile tea to go along with it. Sometimes I don't make any toasted bread and just enjoy the cream cheese and honey by itself along with my steaming cup of chamomile tea.

To make this sweet snack all you need is some cream cheese, some honey, and some toasted bread, bagel or crackers, and of course your favorite cup of tea or perhaps even coffee.

Ingredients - Sweet Cream Cheese Snack

  • Cream Cheese
  • Honey
  • Crackers or White Toast

Instructions - Sweet Cream Cheese Snack

  1. Add a desired amount of cream cheese to a bowl. Add a few teaspoons of honey to the bowl with the cream cheese and mix together. You can use a spoon or you can whip the ingredients in a blender though using a spoon is best because the cream cheese may get stuck to the sides of the blender and be hard to clean. Then take your favorite crackers or toasted bread and top it with the cream cheese and honey mixture. You are now ready to enjoy your snack. Be sure to brew a steaming cup of your favorite tea before eating. The two together taste delicious.

If you are allergic to honey or simply don't like honey you can substitute it with some maple syrup or with your favorite jams or preserves. My favorite preserves are those made by Kozlowki Farms. There is no high fructose corn syrup in them or any other unnecessary things. And they taste delicious.

Something else that you might enjoy is substituting cream cheese with ricotta cheese or cottage cheese/farmer cheese. They will fill you up and satisfy your hunger.
