Taco Fries

Updated on August 13, 2012

Our kids LOVE this recipe. Its easy to make & they have fun eating it with their fingers while they watch their fave cartoon or other t.v show. Actually, that's how this recipe came about. We were watching iCarly (yes I watch Nick too lol). Our daughter saw Spencer's Spaghetti Tacos and so she asked for tacos. Our son said he wanted fries with his so I said "How about we make Taco Fries?" Of course our lovely daughter was like "ewww" but as usual, our boy was gung ho and excited. Turns out, they both asked for seconds.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1.25 0z packet Taco seasoning mix
  • Small Tub Sour Cream
  • Shredded cheese of your choice
  • 1 Tomato, Diced
  • Lettuce, Chopped
  • 1 Bag of seasoned fries
  • 1 Cup Water

  1. Deep fry or bake fries. While those are cooking, brown meat in a skillet. Drain extra fat then add packet of seasoning and 1 cup of water. Simmer for 5 minutes. Lay fries on a plate with a paper towel and let the grease drain (if deep fried). Put fries in a bowl, place meat on top and add the cheese, tomato and sour cream
