- 1 cup Rava
- 1 cup Curd\Yogurt, Curd should not be fresh
- 1 Fine chopped onion
- 1 Fine chopped tomatoes
- Curry leaves
- Salt
- Green Chilly
- Red Chilly
- Water
- Corriander Leaves
- Cooking Oil
- Turmeric Powder
Rava, Appam, Snack, Easy cook
- Mix Rawa and Curd and keep the batter for 30 mins. After 30 mins, add chopped onions, tomatoes, chopped green chilli as per taste, red chilli as per taste and salt as per taste.
- Add water in batter. So, that batter is neither very thick nor very liquid. ( like idali batter)
- Take appam pan, put 1 drop of oil in each section and then put batter.
Cook for 5 mins till upper layer is slightly cooked, then turn the appam.
- When Appam is ready, take another pan, put 1 table spoon of oil in it and then put mustard seed, curry leaves, 1-2 pinch turmeric powder. Put Appam and cook for 2 mins.
- Appam is ready to serve now.
It can be serve with Sauce or chutney.
