Attention Foodies! Are you aware of the benefits of vegetarian foods? Are you aware of the dangers of fast food? If you are a health conscious person, I request you to read this article. It gives you some valuable tips to keep a healthy and smart life.


In the modern world, people run after fast foods. The fragrance, flavors, decoration, etc catch the youngsters' attention fast. Pizzas, Berger, Shawarma, Chinese & Arabian foods...the new generation are madly in love with these foods. Though tasty, these do affect our health badly as they contain a lot of ingredients which are very harmful to our body. The Chinese Salt better known as Ajinomoto is the worst thing one needs to avoid. But sadly this is what contains in most of these foods and that too beyond the permissible level. To make things worse (or waste!), the youth consume a lot of soft drinks too at the eatery. Thus, by the age of 30 to 40, their bodies are prone to a lot of diseases. Sugar, Blood Pressure and Cholesterol, etc do take the precious life of many people, who are so young. It does trouble the current generation mercilessly thanks to the bad food habits.


My advice is to try to avoid or limit consumption of this killing food and drinks. Try vegetarian foods. Now a days a lot of tasty items are being prepared under 'Veggie' category too. I stress this point because most of the non-veggies complain that veg foods are not tasty and choices are limited. It is a wrong concept. Nowadays, the choice is so wide and inviting when you go for vegetarian dishes. So give it a try. You will love it. By shifting to vegetarian food, you can save your health and life as well.


The Most Important Benefits


Some serious research by well known health care research centers have established that if you stick on with vegetarian foods, you will have the following important benefits:


  • Live longer
  • Have better Cholesterol level
  • Have a lower body weight
  • Minimum risk of developing cancer and
  • Have a lower risk of developing several diseases.


So hurry. It is high time you take a decision in favor of vegetarian dish for a healthy life.


On eating, our motto should be Eat to Live; not Live to Eat!

      Thank you for your visit and comments. I agree non veg food have health benefit, but while comparing, the veg are the best. It is a fact even the medical science proved. And for taste purpose, as you said occasionally we can taste fast also. But when the taste catch you, you forget moderation and you fall addicted. That's the problem with these fast food items.       I like eating vegetarian food but even non vegetarian foods have health benefits, so a person according to me should eat all kind of foods including fast food ( purely for taste) but in moderation.
