Three Ingredient Dessert worth Trying

If you are having a dinner party and want something simple and wonderful for dessert without a lot of fuss, this dessert is the one.

This has to be the easiest dessert bread you will ever make. What is wonderful about this bread or some might call it a cake, is that the ingredients can be interchanged to include what guest might enjoy the most. I recently was introduced to this at a small group gathering, and when I complimented the host, she quickly gave me the recipe. I couldn’t believe it was so simple and it tasted amazing. Additionally, I won’t have to write this one down or struggle to remember what was in it.

There are only three ingredients and can be made in a cake pan. I recently made one in a loaf pan. It turned out well but did require a longer cooking time.

  1. I had the dessert made from chocolate cake, and cherry pie filling.
  2. It could be any combination of cake and pie filling that you think may go together.

I served this a week later and warmed it and topped it with vanilla ice cream and/or whipped creme.

It is really as rich tasting as some of the high end desserts you would be served with an upscale dinner.

Products that Help with Clean-up

When I bake I am now using the non-stick pan lining paper that is tin foil on one side and parchment paper on the inside. It helps to be able to pull your cakes/bread/brownies out and cut them outside of the pan. It also protects the pans and clean up is a breeze.

Baking joy is another one of my favorite products. It is similar to the oil spray coatings, but contains flour and saves the step of flouring the pan when baking. It's worked for all of my applications, but if you have a favorite recipe you might want to try it before hand to make sure it's what you need.
