If you’re anything like me, you love pizza. No, you don’t just love it, you LOVE it. It is probably one of my top five foods I would want if I could only have five foods for the rest of my life. Seeing as how it is in that list, as you can imagine I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my lifetime. So what makes one pizza better than another? The crust has to taste just right, the sauce slightly sweetened with the right mix of herbs, the cheese…. Oh the cheese…

Adriatico’s is nestled on w 11th Avenue, just outside of the Ohio State University Medical Center. My husband and I discovered them quite by mistake, but what we found here we fell in love with.Their pizza is superb, with large “sandwich style” pepperonis and some of the best bread sticks I have ever eaten. They have a very small, intimate dining section and during football season, they are normally packed with college kids studying, watching Buckeye Football, and grubbing on some of the best pizza campus has to offer.

The 2011 Top 3 Award Winner for Traditional Pizza in the Mid-West, and the 2011 Top 10 Award Winner for Gourmet Pizza in the Mid-West, MinuteMan Pizza is by far one of the best tasting places around. They lose a few points from me because they closed up their location closest to my house, so now I have to drive nearly 30 minutes in traffic to get a slice, but it is so worth it that I do this every few months.MinuteMan Pizza also offers catering, online ordering, and a vast array of items to tantalize your taste buds.
4) Tristanos Pizza House, 3306 Columbus Street, Grove City, Ohio 43123

With only two locations in Ohio (the other is at Polaris Market), Cottage Inn Gourmet Pizza is the best thing to come out of Ann Arbor since…. Well, if you’re a Buckeye, it’s the ONLY good thing to ever come out of Ann Arbor. With their selection of gourmet flavors you can have added to your crust at no charge, to their selection of breads, sandwiches, wings, and lasagna, you can’t go wrong with Cottage Inn.I actually didn’t even know they were in Ohio until I got turned around in construction one day.The only other place I had seen them, and where I grew to love them, was when I lived in Jackson, Michigan. There isn’t much room for dine-in customers, but their Party Tray pizza with 32 slices of fresh, deep dish pizza is sure to be a hit at tailgates and super bowl parties alike.
8) Zanzi’s to Go, 3467 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123
When you first see the sign for Zanzi’s to Go, you probably would have no idea how wonderful their food is.The name is deceiving, because the only thing that is “to go” about them is the fact that they don’t have a dining room.Their pizza is baked fresh, and made fresh to order, which is a welcome change from other “discount” pizza places around. That’s right folks, Zanzi’s to Go is a discount pizza shop, charging only $6 for a large pizza, unless it’s fully loaded, and offering a package with 2 large pizzas, three bread sides, an Italian sub, and 2 dipping sauces for $20.With prices like those and a taste better than most national chains, you are sure to be a hit when you bring home Zanzi’s to Go Pizza for dinner.
9) Joseppi’s Pizza, 4062 Hoover Rd, Grove City, Ohio 43123
Joseppi’s Pizza is a long time favorite of Grove City High School Alumni. Most everyone who attended the school at one point or another went to Joseppi’s after a football game to get some pizza.Their Strombolis really set them apart from many other pizza places in the area. They are a little pricier than some of their competitors, but they are well worth it for a special treat.
10) Grandstand Pizza Shop, 4034 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123
Grandstand Pizza Shop, like the name, serves a grand pie. Reasonably priced and fantastic flavor keep this pizza shop a favorite amongst the locals. Their mouth-watering sauces and perfectly seasoned dough make for the perfect pie, while their prices won’t break the bank. If pizza really isn’t your thing they serve up some of the best subs around. However, I don’t know many people that can pass up a hand-tossed, stone-baked pizza from Grandstand Pizza Shop!
