Try These Super-Tasty Gravy-Baked Pork Chops
Gravy-Baked Pork Chops . .Yummm!
And if you already love barbecue chops, then you can relate. Now let’s share this tasty offering to those who have yet to try this Manna from Heaven.
This recipe is used by permission of Pam Avery and Alexis Nash. And make no mistake. These two girls know how to cook great food. Thank you, Kenneth.
Here Are The Ingredients
½ c. lemon-lime carbonated beverage
¼ c. plus 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
2 ½ Tbsp. Hot sauce
½ c. sugar
juice of 1 lemon-lime
1 tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Accent
1 bay leaf
6 thick lean pork chops
Instructions:
Combine first 8 ingredients in a glass or plastic container. Add pork chops, cover and marinate in refrigerator 6 to 8 hours. Remove chops from marinade. Grill 5 to 6 inches from moderate coals, turning frequently and basting with marinade, 35 to 40 minutes or until well done. Yields 6 servings.
But there is one problem: unless you have an extra supply of pork chops, then the only problem is your crowd of friends and family clamoring to have you head to the market to buy more pork chops.
See if I am not right.
