Chocolate chip cookies
Ingredients
125gm unsalted butter.1 cup brown sugar.1 teaspoon vanilla essence1 egg1 tablespoon milk1 3/4 cup plain flour1 tea spoon baking powder1 1/2 cup chocolate chips (or you can break large chocolate into small bits)MethodPreheat the oven at 180 degrees (gas mark 4). Beat the egg, butter and sugar together with an electric beater. Sift the flour and baking powder together and add into the egg mixture. Add vanilla essence, milk and chocolate chips and mix well to make dough.Grease the baking tray with oil or butter. Make small cookies of about 2-inch diameter and place them on the tray, leaving about 4-cm space between each cookie. Bake for 15 minutes until crispy and golden. Ingredients
1/2 litre of custard 1/2 litre jelly
1 plain cake (500 gm)
6 bananas
2 apples
Canned pineapple
Method
Cut the plain cake into pieces and cover the base of the bowl with some pieces of cake. Now cover the pieces of cake with a layer of custard. Add a layer of fruits on the custard in the trifle bowl. Repeat this layering process till you are a few inches below the brim of the bowl. Now put this trifle bowl for an hour in the refrigerator for cooling. Your trifle is ready but the garnishing of the trifle is yet to be done.
Garnishing
Cut the remaining jelly into designs and use it as a decorative topping. Do the same with the remaining fruits. You can also use cream for the dressing.

Coconut candy
Ingredients
1 grated coconut 12 oz sugar
1 liter milk
2 tsp vanilla essence
Method
Mix coconut, milk and sugar and heat for ten minutes on moderate heat. Add vanilla essence and spread the mixture in a greased pan. Cut into candy pieces when slightly set. Serve when hard.
