Vermicelli Curd Baath Preperation

If you have eaten Curd Rice then you would find Vermicelli Curd Baath an interesting variation to try. Children would love this for lunch. Given below are the Ingredients and Method of Preperation of this Dish.


  • 2 Cups Vermicelli
  • 2 Cups beaten Curd
  • 1 Cup grated coconut
  • Pomegranate Seeds (Optional)
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  • Bengal gram
  • Urad dal
  • Jeera
  • Mustard seeds
  • 1 Pinch Asafoetida
  • Coriander leaves
  • Curry leaves
  • Oil
  • Salt

Method of Preperation of Vermicelli Curd Baath

Boil 6 Cups of water and add Vermicelli in it along with 1 tsp of Oil and salt. Once cooked remove from flame and stain the water and keep aside. Prepare seasoning with mustard, jeera, bengal gram dal, pepper, urad dal and red chillies.Add the rest of the ingredients to the cooked vermicelli and mix well along with the prepared seasoning. Serve chilled with pickle.
