Waffle Shot
Disclaimer - This is not one of Couch's original drinks. This is one he discovered while visiting a local watering hole called The Crow's Nest. If you are in the Gray's Creek, NC area, you should definitely check them out. If you are not, you should try this at home!
The Waffle shot has been around for awhile but never done quite like this before. The bacon at the end is the perfect finisher for this shot. It is a very easy chaser shot to make.
You will need:
- .75 oz of Jameson Irish Whiskey
- .75 oz of Butterscotch Schnapps
- 1.5 oz of orange juice
- a small piece of bacon
Pour the Jameson and the Butterscotch Schnapps into one shot glass. Pour the orange juice into a second shot glass.
To drink this chaser shot: Drink the Jameson and Butterscotch Schnapps first, chase with the orange juice, and finally eat the piece of bacon. When you finish, you will feel like you have ate an entire All Star breakfast at the local Waffle House.
Variations - Instead of the Jameson, a honey whiskey or a bacon vodka works nicely as well.
- The Crow's Nest
The baddest bar in the middle of nowhere... Formallly Known as Chaps. For all those who once knew this as home can definitely revisit. Come out and have a seat on the front porch in the rocking chair while enjoying a nice cold beer or two.
