Whiskey Battered French Toast

Here's what you'll need:
4 slices of bread (the thicker and fluffier the better)
2 TBSP heavy cream
2 TBSP sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 TBSP cinnamon
1/2 oz Whiskey
dash of salt (optional)
Combine all ingredients into a medium mixing bowl and whisk until blended. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes, (or prepare it in the evening and leave it in the fridge overnight).
Warm frying pan over medium heat. Use butter or a nonstick spray on the pan.
Dip your bread into the whiskey batter and fry on both sides until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup.
