10 Great Wineries In Livermore Valley, California.
Livermore Valley Wineries.
In the beautiful Livermore Valley there are 40 plus wineries. Livermore is only minutes from San Jose and about an hours drive from San Francisco. Livermore wineries are not as well known as the Napa Valley region which lies north about 65 miles. This area has some of the oldest wineries in California with Concannon and Wente establishing themselves 1883. Concannon was the first to grow the Petite Sirah grape in the United States. The Livermore Valley is definitely not a newcomer to the growing and the production of wine.
