Wonderful Chicken Recipes

If you love chicken and cooking with chicken then here are some of the most delightfully delicious chicken dishes you will ever eat. I like to think of chicken as the perfect meat and it really is. There are so many ways you can cook with chicken and so many things you can do with chicken.

Delicious Grilled Chicken Meal ( In Photo Above )

You will want to start with a whole chicken cut up into pieces or about 2 pieces of chicken per person. To start with you will need a large plastic container with lid. Wash your chicken off well with plenty of cold running water and place your chicken into the plastic container.

Now cover your chicken with any good brand of Italian Dressing. Be sure that the chicken is covered. Let your chicken soak in the Italian Dressing marinade at least 8 hours before you cook it.

Now you will need your charcoal or gas grill on medium heat and ready to cook before you place your chicken on the grill to cook. When you are ready to cook your chicken spray your chicken not your grill with vegetable cooking spray. Start your chicken cooking on the grill and have the below seasoning mix made up and ready to sprinkle on your chicken as it cooks.

Chicken Seasoning Mix.

2 Tablespoons Ground Sea Salt.

2 Tablespoons Black Pepper.

2 Tablespoons Cumin.

2 Tablespoons Ground Cayenne Pepper.

Mix the above ingredients together well and place in a container so you can shake it on the chicken.

Sprinkle your chicken as it cooks with the chicken seasoning. Be sure to cook your chicken until it is done but be sure not to overcook your chicken.

Garnish your chicken with lime wedges. On the side serve black beans, white rice, flour tortillas, guacamole, sour cream, and fine diced purple sweet onions.

1 Can Black Beans.

1 Teaspoon Bacon Grease.

1/2 Teaspoon Salt.

1.2 Teaspoon Black Pepper.

Place all your ingredients in a small pot and heat thoroughly

Best Fried Chicken Ever

Here is the recipe for delicious fried chicken. In fact the best fried chicken you will ever eat. And you won't believe what the secret ingredient in this recipe is. Its cream of chicken soup that you will use in the breading of the chicken breast tenders.And it will really surprise you what this secret ingredient does for the chicken. It gives you a delicious crunchy  chicken on the outside and inside you will find its full of mouth watering flavor.

For Your Recipe You Will Need.

1. 8 Chicken Breast Half's sliced into tenders as in above photo.

2. 1 Can Cream Of Chicken Soup.

3. 1 Large Egg.

Mix your cream of chicken soup and your large egg up in a bowl very well. Use a blender if you want it really mixed well and then pour into a bowl to dip your chicken in.

For Your Breading You Will Need.

1. 2 Cups Plain All Purpose Flour.

2. 1 Teaspoon Salt.

3. 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper.

4. 1 Teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper.

5. 1 Teaspoon Ground Sage.

Mix the above ingredients in a large plastic bag. Dip your chicken into the cream of chicken and egg first and then drop it into the dry mix and shake well. As you bread your chicken place it in layers on a plate between wax paper and refrigerate the breaded chicken at least 2 hours before you fry in your home deep fryer set at 350 degrees. Fry until golden brown and done and you will truly have the best fried chicken you will ever taste. There is no better fried chicken than this.

Buttermilk Fried Chicken

Buttermilk Fried Chicken really is the perfect fried chicken. The secret here is that you soak the chicken pieces overnight in buttermilk before you proceed with the recipe. This gives the chicken a flavor that you and anyone who tastes it is going to love.

Fried Chicken truly is the All American meal and once you and your family taste buttermilk fried chicken I'm sure it will become a tradition at your house.

After your chicken marinades in the buttermilk overnight both to tenderize it and give it a mouth watering flavor remove it from the buttermilk when your ready to cook it and place directly into the below milk egg bath.

For Your Milk Egg Bath You Will Want To.

1. 1 Quart of Cold Whole Milk.

2. 4 Large Eggs.

Mix together very well before using.

Once you have all the chicken in the milk, egg bath you will want to make the below breading in a large bowl.

1. 4 Cups Plain All Purpose Flour.

2. 1 Tablespoon Hungarian Paprika.

3. 1 Tablespoon Salt.

3. 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper.

4. 1 Tablespoon Ginger.

5. 1 Tablespoon Thyme.

6. 1 Teaspoon Oregano.

7. 1 Teaspoon Ground Mustard.

Mix all together very well in a large bowl.

Now remove the chicken from the milk/egg mixture a few pieces at a time and place into the breading until you have all the chicken breaded. Now your chicken gets another bath in the milk/egg mixture and then goes through the dry breading again.

You want to be sure you double bread each and every piece of chicken. The double breading is another of the secrets of this delicious fried chicken. Fry your chicken in a 350 degree pre heated home deep fryer until done. This will take somewhere between 15 and 18 minutes depending on how thick your chicken is.

This chicken is delicious served with green beans, homemade mashed potatoes, chicken gravy, and biscuits. It truly doesn't get any better than that. Its so delicious.

      thanks and yes the buttermilk recipe is oh so wonderful. It was my Grandmothers recipe but I changed it up a bit over the years. You can use skinned boneless chicken breast in this recipe and it is oh so delicious.
