Easy Chocolate Cake Recipe

Worlds Easiest Chocolate Cake Recipe

I don't know about you but as a child the one thing I craved more than anything else was chocolate cake. Both my Mom and Grandmother made delicious Chocolate Cake and I was always trying to figure out a way to get one of them to make a chocolate cake. Most of the time I didn't get what I wanted but sometimes I did. My Grandma Hattie Propst made a delicious multi layer chocolate cake that made me want one more thing and that was more chocolate cake. I remember my Mom made chocolate cakes for our birthdays and she would often hide our birthday money inside the piece of cake that was served to the child who's birthday it was.

Here on this Hub Page is the recipe for a delicious chocolate cake that you can bake in a 13" X 9" pan and I guarantee you that it will be one of the best chocolate cakes you've ever eaten. A really good chocolate cake can be made quite easily if you'll just follow the recipe below. You can choose to put the pecans in the frosting or leave them out but I'll tell you that the pecans just jazz this perfect chocolate cake up and make it oh so delicious.

Here is a recipe for a very easy to make chocolate cake that everyone loves. Its really easy to make and it tastes wonderful.

For Your Recipe You Will Need.

1. 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour.

2. 1 Cup Granulated Sugar.

3. 3 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder.

4. 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda.

5. 1 Teaspoon Salt.

6. 3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil.

7. 1 Tablespoon White Vinegar.

8. 1 Teaspoon Vanilla.

9. 1 Cup Cold Water.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and then sift all your dry ingredients together and pour into a large mixing bowl. Add in all the rest of your ingredients and mix very well with a hand mixer. Be sure to get all the way to the bottom of the bowl and that you mix all of your ingredients together well. Check to make sure you don't have any dry ingredients in the bottom of the bowl.

Pour into a 13"X9" baking pan that you have sprayed with Pam Vegetable Cooking Spray. Cook in your preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

New Tin Foil Parchment Paper

The new tin foil / parchment paper is wonderful. It has tin foil on one side and parchment paper on the other side and it is wonderful to line baking pans with. Put the tin foil side down in the pan and the parchment side up in the pan and your cake will come out of the pan easily and the pan will be easy to clean.

Easy Chocolate Frosting

Yes I know you don't see any nuts in the photo above but we are going to add them in the frosting recipe. They make this chocolate cake oh so delicious.

1. 1 Stick Real Butter.

2. 4 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder.

3. 1/3 Cup Of Whole Milk.

4. 1 One Pound Box Powdered Sugar.

5. 1 Teaspoon Vanilla.

6. 1 Teaspoon Salt.

7. 1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Pecans.

You will want to mix your butter , cocoa , and milk in a saucepan and heat until the butter is melted. Then stir in the rest of your ingredients. And beat until it is ready to spread. Using a hand mixer to beat will make your chocolate frosting so much better. Spread on the top of your cake and when you are ready to serve cut out in squares and serve.

Let me tell you what we do sometimes to jazz this cake up and just drive people just crazy with desire for more of this delicious cake. We heat up Hershey's chocolate syrup and buy vanilla ice cream, cool whip topping and maraschino cherries. We put a piece of this cake in the bottom of the bowl then we put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the cake and then I put a ladle of hot chocolate syrup and then cool whip and I top it off with a cherry. Talk about something good. Now that is it. If you make it that way its oh so delicious and the combination of the flavors are oh so delicious. If you serve the chocolate cake this way I bet you people will be back for more. Yes it really is that good. If you try it please post a comment and let me know how it turns out for you. And thanks for reading.

You will find that this is a quick and easy chocolate cake and also quite tasty and delicious. I hope if you make the cake that you will post a comment but please don't post links as they will never be approved.
