    Thanksgiving is coming. What dish are you look forward to?

    Mine is between Ham and Pecan pie.

    Potato salad, bean/peas with carrots, snapped beans, bacon smokies (smokies with bacon wrapped around it in a slow cooker) and my mom's homemade stuffing smile))

    Cranberry-orange relish; the relish tray in general; (pickles, olives both green and black, celery, green onions, radishes, etc.); mashed potatoes with vegetarian onion-mushroom gravy; vegetarian dressing ditto with the same gravy; sweet potatoes with honey, brown sugar and maple syrup; and, of course, dessert!
    Yes, I eat 'around' the usual main course, as I don't eat meat.  My wish is that just once, I could convince the rest of the family to have a vegetarian feast.

    It's really hard to pick, since so much Thanksgiving food is delicious. I think that, when I was younger, I always looked forward to the rolls. It seems kind of silly, when compared to everything else, but it was the smell they made that spread throughout the house that I liked most. It just made it 'feel' like thanksgiving. Now that I'm older, I think I would say the pie, which also seems silly. But my wife's family always provides a ridiculous amount of pies, in every variety, and it has become one of my favorite traditions.

    I make fresh cranberry sauce mixed with apples and 100% pure Agave. I add chopped almonds for a little crunch. This is the dish I most look forward to.
