I made a blackberry cobbler by the recipe but I did something wrong. The flour mixture did not bubble up thru the berries. The edges were crispy. What did I do wrong???

Thank you soooo much. We're crazy about cobblers, but somehow forget about making them. Excellent reminder, easy recipe - and this is the PERFECT time for fresh fruit! It'll go so deliciously with coffee from the Coffee House!

This sounds yummy. My husband loves peach cobblers and blackberries so I'll have to make one for him and get back to you. Blessed. Bear hugs, Frankster

We have a lot of wild blackberries growing in our area and this year I'm determined to take my pail and make a habit of filling it at least once a week. Your cobbler sound delicious.

      Hi ThomasC:

Now this lens totally caught my attention. Quality blackberry cobbler is one of my favorite things to eat. Although my wife makes it really well, I'll send this lens her way to check it out. Very nice!

Yuim. We used to pick wild blackberries around Canberra but now they have all been poisoned out, probably because of the snakes that hibernated under them. Great recipe again. *-*Blessed*-* and featured on Sprinkled with Stardust - Cakes

Chef Thomas - YOU are the Squidoo Cobbler King! This blackberry cobbler recipe (not just the recipe - the finished cobbler, of course!) will be on my table as soon as I can get fresh berries at the farmers market. Thanks, bro! :)

Your recipe lenses are great! I featured one on my Thanksgiving side dish lens, but I'd have included a bunch of yours if I hadn't been trying to do one per person. This cobbler looks great! We're big cobbler-obbler fans (as we call it) in our house, usually making it when we're car-camping.

I really like cobbler much better than piec. My local coffee shop makes a great apple cobbler that I love. For berries, I prefer blueberry over blackberry. Sounds like a great recipe though. I will have to try it this winter. Perfect for the cold weather. Blessed by an Angel. :)
