Breville bov800xl The Smart Oven 1800-Watt Convection Toaster Oven With Element IQ | An Overview

This is a Breville Bov800xl Toaster Oven Review. You will get my honest opinion on what I feel about this toaster oven. Why have toaster ovens? Why should you use the convection fan? Who is Breville anyways?

Why have toaster ovens? Because sometimes you just want to quickly cook something like one piece of chicken or one slice of toast. With a toaster oven you now can do that without t need to turn on your large oven. Not only does it take long but it is a waste of electricity.

Why should you use the convection fan? The convection fan has two purposes. One is to cook the food faster and the other is to cook the food more evenly by circulating the air within the oven. This makes your food cook better and faster with the circulation.

Who is Breville? Breviile is a company who makes and supplies home cooking appliances. They mainly make smaller, countertop like appliances such as toaster ovens, blenders, and coffee makers. I personally love Breville and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for some good home appliances.

For more information about this product please continue to read my lens where I give my honest review.

Breville Bov800xl Toaster Oven Review

This Breville Bov800xl Toaster Oven is really above the competition when it comes to technology. This toaster over features an 1800 watt convection oven capable of baking food much faster than a conventional oven. The Breville toaster oven also has some of the coolest technology in toaster ovens. It contains the Element IQ technology for smarter control over the heat. This feature really makes the oven go above and beyond what other toaster ovens can not do.

The Good

Wow where do I start. This is one of the coolest toaster ovens I have come across. The Breville toaster oven has nine preset settings on it for a range of different needs such as bagels or roasting.

One of the coolest features of the toaster oven is the element IQ technology. This technology is one of a kind for countertop ovens. What is does it uses one or more of the five quartz heating elements and with the help of this technology will use only the elements that are needed to maintain the heat evening.

Why do you need this? For two main reasons; one is that it will save on energy costs by reducing the power needed to maintain heat, and two it will heat your food more evenly. This is a great feature and really should not be overlooked.

The Bad

So this sounds like a great toaster oven right. Well yes of corse. However, there have been some complaints by people who own these that they go defective in under a years time. Now the company is aware of this and I am sure they have taken the steps to correct this problem.

Another complaint made by a small handful of people is that the Breville toaster oven is not heating up enough. That could be a setting they choose to use though and like I said that is only a handful of people who complained about it.

Final Verdict

I would say if you are looking for a modern state of the art toaster oven then the Breville toaster oven is definitely for you. The element IQ technology will really help you save energy costs that you would get from other machines. With 1800 watts you will really get some good power with this. With the Breville toaster oven being a convection oven you will enjoy faster cook times and more evenly cooked foods. I would suggest the Breville toaster oven to anyone who wants a real joy from a toaster oven.
