Cheesy Lasagna Dinner

This is one of my husband's favorite meals that I make for him and he asked me to make it for him so I decided to make it and I will share the recipe with everyone. This cheesy lasagna dinner is unique from other cooks for I use three different types of cheeses so it makes it come out of the oven brown and bubbly and the kitchen smells good while it is cooking.

Cook time: 1 hour
Ready in: 1 hour
Yields: 8

  • 1 lb. hamburg
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 box of lasagna noodles
  • 1 jar of Prego Heart Smart Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1 8 oz. of Ricotta cheese
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Bag of Mozarella Cheese

  1. Boil Lasagna Noodles and then drain them water out of them and set them aside in a colander.
  2. Fry hamburg with onions until brown.
  3. Then add spaghetti sauce to hamburg mixture.
  4. Use and spray a baking with Pam.
  5. Put hamburg sauce mixture on bottom of pan.
  6. Then put 6 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
  7. Then put teaspoons of 1/2 of ricotta cheese on top of noodles.
  8. Then spread 1/2 bag of mozarella cheese on top of the ricotta cheese.
  9. Then sprinkle Parmesan Cheese on top of mozarella cheese.
  10. Then put rest of hamburg sauce mixture on top of that.
  11. Then put 6 lasagna noodles on top and then put other 1/2 of ricotta cheese, other 1/2 of bag mozarella cheese, and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of that mixture.
  12. Cover with foil.
  13. Bake in an oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let it cook covered for a half hour with foil and then take it off and cook it the rest of the way until you see it brown and bubbly from the cheese. Sit and enjoy it.

I was a big fan of lasagne. I have to avoid it, given that I discovered I had an allergy to dairy, and therefore cheese. Man I loved cheese. I miss it. And I'm hungry while reading this hub.

Looks yummy! I haven't made a lasagne in years, but now I think I will need to make one soon.
