Gluten free foods are consumed by a few groups:
- those with celiac disease
- those with other kinds of gluten connected diseases and those with gluten sensitivity
- those on a diet (health, weight loss and other dietary plans)
As we know, gluten free diet is connected mostly with not consuming the following grass seeds:
- wheat, spelt and kamut
- barley
- rye
- triticale
- oats (a debate about oat gluten value has been active for a while)

Dangers of gluten free diet explained
When one is consuming gluten free foods it would be reasonable to study what substances are lacking in those foods, compared with a more traditional, eat everything diet.
When looking it from that perspective the following deficiencies become apparent:
- folates
- iron
- fiber
- calcium
- protein
- riboflavin
- niacin
- thiamine
Because of the reduced intake of the listed substances, reduced bone strength, various iron deficiencies can arise.
