Five Pound Milk Chocolate Bar - Feast on This!

Updated on November 23, 2014

Who doesn't love chocolate?

Every night after our evening meal my husband would make a quick trip to the grocery store if there were no sweets in the house. He would on occasion settle for a piece of pie or cake (chocolate of course). If the hour was late and the stores closed as a last resort he would half-heartedly eat some gelatin dessert or a pudding parfait.

But, he was never really satisfied unless he got his chocolate fix for the day. With the price of gasoline here it was getting to be an expensive habit.

When I spotted this huge five pound Hershey's milk chocolate candy bar on Amazon for a very affordable and enticing price, I knew this was one gift I could give my husband that would really be appreciated AND enjoyed!

I was right!

What does it taste like?

It takes like a fresh milk chocolate Hershey's bar! Only LOTS bigger! :)

Is bigger really better?

If we're referring to chocolate I am confident any self-respecting chocoholic will say YES!

How long will this giant milk chocolate candy bar last?

This is a difficult question to answer because this five pound piece of chocolate is 3/4" thick! The package states there are approximately 60 servings of this scrumptious chocolate bar though I think those must be really LARGE servings. I'd guess there are more like 80 to 90 servings.

According to the caloric scale on the back of the candy wrapper, if you ate the entire ginormous piece of chocolate you'd be consuming a whopping 11,400 calories so it's probably a good idea to pace yourself! :)

Who would love this?

Anyone who loves milk chocolate! Wouldn't this make a fun dessert for a party?

Would you rather eat five pounds of milk chocolate OR 10 pounds of milk chocolate?

UPDATE: This yummy absolutely delicious candy bar lasted about six weeks before my hubby had devoured it all, one nibble at a time.

When it comes to chocolate, do YOU think bigger IS better?

When I get chocolate I tend to ration it out. So Bigger means I would have it longer. In fact I currently have a bag of 400 Tootsie Rolls. At this point I allow myself 6 per day. There is also a coffee chocolate bar that I also ration out. Add to that I tend to share and get others addicted to. So again bigger would be better.

My husband is the choco-holic in our family and I am sure that it would take even him awhile to get through the Giant Hershey bar. Yummy.
