More than 100 people have lifted the SAMBAR recipe I posted 3 weeks ago, so it must be quite popular. I thought it was served with rice and they were eaten together. Is that not true?I know in the villages it's serve on a palm frond and eaten by hand. Been there, done that. David Russell

Sambar Rice is a different Recipe where you do not need any accompaniments. Sambar can be made separate and eaten by mixing with rice.
