How do you prepare a good cup of coffee at home?
A cup of coffee made at home, but as good as starbuck coffee.
Got me a Keurig coffee brewer, with which I get to enjoy a huge variety of great flavors as good as Starbucks coffee. Have not bought Starbucks coffee since then.
For me, I always use my AeroPress with Starbucks Columbian Blend coffee grounds. I honestly enjoy it much more than anything I've gotten in Starbucks. I'm not sure why. I suppose the satisfaction of making it yourself adds to the experience.
My everyday (everymorning?) coffee is done with a Cuisinart grinder/drip brewer and Costa Rican beans. That does a good job. When I want a really good cup, though, I run the beans through a burr grinder and make it with a French press. When nothing but a thick, foamy, high-octane, luxuriant brew will do, I either make it in an Italian espresso pot or triple boil it in a saucepan, Greek style.

Why do people pay almost $5 for a latte at Starbucks? Do you realize 1 Starbucks venti latte a day equals nearly $150 a month.

Trying to live frugally I have tried to use my Keurig machine in a frugal manner and squeeze a second cup of coffee out of the K-Cup. I have found the second cup of tea tastes great but the coffee on the second try is horrible.Have you tried this?Is this enough money for you to switch to tea over...
